The 1200 watt Champion portable generator fits easily into the trunk of a car. It starts on the first pull, saving wear and tear on your shoulder.

It easily powers a television, lights, fans and any other low power appliances. It is easy on fuel and has an excellent price (priced around $330).

One happy customer wrote, "Filled it with oil and gas and it fired on the first pull. I hooked it up to my camper and it ran everything I have with no sweat (no AC). All of this I expected but the price is what makes it 5 stars for me. It is also surprisingly quite for what it is, nice unit."

Champion 3500 Watt Portable Generator

The Champion 3500 watt portable generator starts easily and is fuel efficient. Most customers were pleased with the noise level, although a few thought it could be quieter.

It is a bit on the heavy side, though you can get a wheel kit to make it easier to move. You may need an adapter for some appliances.

The 3500 works well for camping and RVs. It starts easily with one or two pulls. There have been some customers who got their generators damaged during shipping, but Champion customer service sent them replacement parts as needed.

Several customers wished there were an electrical start, but one said even their 10 year old child could start the generator as is.

The Champion 4800 watt portable generator is durable and dependable.

As one customer says, "Have had this unit for a few years. Has been needed a few times otherwise I take out and run twice a year. Starts great every time, big enough to keep the whole house going in an outage. A little more money but when you add in the wheel kit on the smaller unit plus the extra power and catch it on sale thought it to be a good buy."
