On the positive side, even those who knocked it for loudness, said that it did just what it was suppose to. Just put gas in and go!

One reviewer tested his 1875 watt blow dryer, first thing. He reported that the generator (and the blow dryer) ran it just fine.

Be sure and keep up on general maintenance to keep your Homelite generator ready to work for you at a moment's notice. You don't want to find out that something has gotten broken when you need it most.

Check out your generator at least once every month or two and give it a start to make sure everything is in working order. Check the oil level. Make sure you keep plenty of fuel on hand.

This generator sells for approximately $450-500 dollars and received 4 out of 5 stars, at Amazon, by those who own this generator.

Their comments were very positive. More than once it was mentioned that this generator seems to built very well and it definitely did the job.

One of the reviewers said that he could attest that his generator ran for 12 hours on one tank, pulling a load.

More than once some of the reviewers mentioned that the generator was quite loud. One joked that it was just loud enough to make the neighbors jealous!

Two reviewer/owners of this generator mentioned oil leaks, early on. This appeared to be due to a cracked gasket. It was easily repaired with some RTV gasket maker. This may have been due to excessively long warehouse storage.

Seemed that most of these generator owners made their purchase at Home Depot.
